WOMEN'S RETREAT

Palomar Mountain

 The Gathering...

Many of us know what it is to feel distant from God; to know with our heads He is near yet struggle to be present to Him. We often get in our own way when it comes to receiving from Him for many reasons. Whatever inhibits us, God promises rest for our souls and desires to be present to all our emotions, our anxious thoughts, and our hurting hearts.

“My heart has heard you say, ‘Come and talk with me.’ And my heart responds, ‘Lord, I am coming.’” Psalm 27:8, NLT.

Have you ever struggled with knowing and/or practicing God’s presence? Do you find it hard to approach God in stillness because you can’t get your mind to stop racing, or you feel overwhelmed by your own emotions?  Do you often feel like your mind is downloading a to-do list, even though you try to have a posture of rest and listening?

Come join us for a weekend of discovery, learning, and rest. Our speaker, Jenni Holder, will be teaching, guiding, and showing us how we can allow God to care for our souls and engage with those around us.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Spiritual Growth

Get fresh vision and refresh your soul with rest, fun outdoor activities, worship and interactive Biblical teaching.

Fellowship

One of the valuable aspects of Women's Retreat is making connections with other women. We pray that new friendships will be formed, wisdom gained and laughter shared.

Time to Recharge, Rest and Relax

We know your time is valuable, so we plan these events around fun, meaningful content, space to think, time reflect, times to worship, and experiences to challenge you. We take you, your journey with God and your spiritual well-being seriously.

Speaker & Tentative Schedule

Jenni Holder

Experiencing the love of Jesus and His presence has transformed me. It is what keeps me going in joy and sorrow, compels me to share that love with others, and invites me to begin to find ways to express my love for him in return. God has blessed me with an amazing, creative family in my husband and three teenagers who constantly keep me moving and laughing. I like fresh peaches, clever words, my collection of drastically under-used hammocks, the joy of fruit-roll up tongue tattoos, the heavenly combination of white cheddar and tart apples, the dream of a clean counter, a genuine smile, grapes in my chicken salad and raisins in oatmeal cookies, running to discover just how far I can go, surprises, lounging near large bodies of water with a good book, sunsets and stars, imagination and creativity, a completed task, being known, sneezing, and artisan ice cream.
